Job summary

OPTIVEUM sp. z o.o. is seeking a Data Analyst / Data Lineage Consultant to map data flows and maintain governance documentation in Warsaw. The role emphasizes analytical rigor, SQL proficiency, Snowflake basics, and collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders.

The position is hybrid with about 60% office presence in Warsaw and offers direct contracting through Optiveum as the recruitment partner.

Qualifications

• A solid foundational understanding of databases, data flows, and data structures.
• Good knowledge of SQL, combined with experience in database / DW / BI testing.
• Ability to analyze and validate data while actively identifying discrepancies.
• Basic working knowledge of Snowflake.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with a strong focus on Excel.
• Basic project management experience.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and analyzing databases alongside existing technical documentation.
• Understanding and accurately mapping data flows between various systems and databases.
• Identifying data sources, transformations, and final destinations.

Location: Warsaw (Hybrid – average 60% office presence)

Rate: Up to 110 PLN/h

Language Requirement: English (Fluent)

We are currently looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst / Data Lineage Consultant to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in mapping data flows and maintaining technical documentation to support data governance initiatives.

What you will be doing:

• Reviewing and analyzing databases alongside existing technical documentation.
