Job summary

Antal in Warsaw seeks a Data & AI Lead who owns the analytics platform built on SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud within SAP Business Data Cloud. The role is hands-on: you model data, write Python, build AI agents and set the standards that enable analytics and AI at scale across an international organisation.

You will also design data models, develop SAC apps, and productionise RAG pipelines while ensuring governance, security and performance across business functions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data and analytics; BI to AI transition.
• Hands-on SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud experience.
• Strong SQL and data modelling; semantic layer design.
• Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud and data products.
• Knowledge of data governance and GDPR considerations.
• Experience leading a workstream or small team.
• Fluent English; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, development and operation of the analytics platform based on SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Develop and maintain SAC models, stories and analytic apps with strong KPI consistency.
• Identify AI use cases and prioritise with business units.
• Design, build and productionise RAG pipelines with all components.

• Develop reusable Python components, APIs, and services with CI/CD.
• Establish monitoring, logging, guardrails for measurable AI operations.
• Take POIs to production with proper handover to operations.

Did you start your career in analytics and then move into AI – and have you already taken RAG
solutions and AI agents from a prototype into real productive use?

To strengthen our data and AI capabilities, we are looking for an Data & AI Lead based in Warsaw. In this role
you own our SAP analytics platform with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud within SAP Business
Data Cloud and you build the AI solutions on top of it. The role is deliberately hands‑on: you model data,
write Python, build agents and set the standards that make analytics and AI work at scale across an
international organisation.

Your Tasks

• Own the architecture, development and operation of our analytics platform based on SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud within SAP Business Data Cloud.
• Design and build data models, views, analytic models, replication and federation flows and task chains, integrating SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA and non-SAP sources.
• Develop and maintain SAC models, stories and analytic applications, and ensure performance, usability and consistent KPI definitions across business functions.
• Identify, qualify and prioritise AI use cases together with the business, including feasibility, value and risk.
• Design, build and productionise RAG pipelines with ingestion, chunking, embeddings, retrieval, re‑ranking, grounding and evaluation of answer quality.
• Build, deploy and maintain AI agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio and comparable frameworks, and integrate them into Teams, M365 and core enterprise systems.
• Develop reusable Python components, APIs and services, applying version control, testing, code review and CI/CD practices.
• Establish evaluation, monitoring, logging and guardrails so that AI solutions are measurable, traceable, cost -
  controlled and safe to operate.
• Take use cases from proof of concept into production, documented and properly handed over to operations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members, key users and external partners, including design and code reviews.
• Maintain the analytics and AI roadmap and work with Data Protection, Information Security and Legal to meet GDPR, EU AI Act and internal requirements.
• Build analytics and AI literacy across the organisation through training, documentation and communities of practice.

Your Profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in data and analytics, with a career start in BI / analytics and a subsequent move into AI.
• Hands‑on expertise in SAP Datasphere (spaces, Data Builder, views, analytic models, replication and federation flows, task chains) and in SAP Analytics Cloud (models, stories, analytic applications, live and import connections, row‑level security).
• Working understanding of SAP Business Data Cloud, including data products, foundation services and the interplay between SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud and Databricks.
• Strong data modelling and SQL skills, including semantic layer design, performance tuning and data quality.
• Hands‑on programming experience in Python for data and AI workloads, with Git‑based version control and testing.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio: agents, topics, knowledge sources, actions and connectors, Power Platform integration and deployment governance.
• Demonstrated experience building RAG pipelines and taking AI agents into production, including orchestration, tool calling, guardrails, observability and evaluation.
• Solid understanding of LLM fundamentals: prompt engineering, context management, structured output, model selection and hallucination mitigation.
• Experience leading a workstream, squad or small team, including technical guidance and quality assurance of the work of others.
• Awareness of AI and data governance requirements such as GDPR, the EU AI Act and responsible AI principles.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Certifications in SAP Datasphere / SAP Analytics Cloud and in AI (e.g. Microsoft AI‑102, Copilot Studio credentials). Power platform is an advantage.
