DXC Technology in Poland is seeking a Mid-Level Data & AI Engineer / Full-Stack Developer with Italian. You will build data-driven applications that combine data pipelines, GenAI features, and simple user interfaces, while working on backend services, APIs, and cloud deployments.

The role requires Italian language proficiency, strong Python/SQL skills, cloud platform experience, and modern front-end frameworks; you will collaborate with senior engineers and business stakeholders to deliver

Mid-Level Data & AI Engineer / Full‑Stack Developer with Italian

Job location: hybrid only from Warsaw, Cracow, Gdansk or Wroclaw

Role Focus

• Build and support data-driven applications that combine data pipelines, GenAI features, and simple user interfaces
• Work on backend services, APIs, and integrations with data sources and AI services
• Use cloud services to deploy, monitor, and support data, AI, and application components
• Develop frontend components for analytics, automation, and AI-assisted workflows
• Backend development experience: APIs, microservices, integration patterns, authentication, and secure application design
• Frontend development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Collaborate with senior engineers and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, transformations, and data models using Python, SQL, and modern cloud data platforms
• Implement AI-powered features such as RAG pipelines, LLM-based assistants, agents, prompt workflows, and AI-enabled automation
• Develop backend components including REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, authentication, integration layers, and application logic
• Develop frontend components and dashboards using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, ensuring usability, accessibility, and performance
• Apply engineering best practices: version control, automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, observability, documentation, and secure-by-design development
• Work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into working solutions

Required Skills

• Good Python programming skills and basic software engineering experience
• Good SQL knowledge and experience working with data transformations or data pipelines
• Knowledge of Italian language sufficient for daily communication with the client and understanding project context
• Practical experience with at least one cloud platform, preferably Azure, AWS, or GCP, including basic cloud services for compute, storage, databases, networking, and identity/access management
• Experience working with cloud data services such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, cloud databases, or object storage
• Hands‑on experience with GenAI concepts such as prompts, LLMs, embeddings, or RAG
• Backend development experience with APIs, services, or application integrations
• Frontend development experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a framework such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Practical knowledge of Git, code reviews, testing, and working in a development team
• Willingness to learn and use AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar

Nice To Have

• Experience with vector databases or semantic search
• Experience with tools such as Airflow, dbt, Matillion, Azure Data Factory, or similar
• Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless deployment
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Basic knowledge of cloud security, networking, IAM/RBAC, secrets management, and environment configuration
• Basic understanding of monitoring, logging, performance, and cost optimization
