Job summary

Avon is seeking a Cyber Security Network Engineer Lead to own the security of Avon’s global network spanning on‑premise and cloud. You will design, implement, and maintain robust controls to protect critical systems, data, and operations.

You will collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure resilient networks, while advancing automation with Python, Bash, or PowerShell and securing AWS/Azure environments. Strong teamwork and proactive improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in network security engineering within enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols.
• Experience with threat detection tools such as IDS/IPS and SIEM platforms.
• Understanding of cloud security in AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to assess risks and implement effective security solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• Automating security processes and analysis using scripting tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Implementing encryption and data protection measures aligned with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve security posture and respond to incidents.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Cyber Security Network Engineer Lead, you will take ownership of securing Avon’s global network infrastructure across both on‑premise and cloud environments. You’ll design, implement, and maintain robust network security solutions that protect critical systems, data, and operations. Working closely with IT and security teams, you will ensure our networks are resilient against evolving threats while continuously improving controls, processes, and technologies to support a secure and scalable digital environment.
