Job summary

Danish Crown Global Business Services (GBS) in Krakow is seeking an IT Security Consultant to protect our global IT environment. You will join a 7-person security team within a broader IT department of about 140 staff, helping to maintain visibility, security levels, and incident readiness across functions.

You will liaise with the Global IT organisation of 250+ IT professionals and participate in security projects while communicating clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in handling security incidents and coordinating responses.
• Strong forensics, monitoring, and log-analysis skills with SIEM tools.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical colleagues; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Daily assessment of security incidents and collaboration with Security Operations Centre.
• Coordinate incidents with technical teams and provide timely updates.
• Develop and optimize monitoring, log management systems, and SIEM configurations.
• Attend and support 24/7 Out of hour duty.
