Department Overview

The Customer Support Engineer (CSE) will be part of the Polish Service Organisation, led by a group of dedicated Radio System & IP Network based professional engineers. The team provides critical system support to Motorola Solution Mission Critical Customers in Poland and across Europe. Systems include Land Mobile Radio solutions, software such as WAVE and Mission Critical Push to Talk (MCPTT), Command and Control solutions, and Two-way Radio products.

We’re looking for talented, motivated, and committed Electronic/System/Computer Engineering professionals to join us and help our customers in the MOMENTS THAT MATTER!

Job Description

The CSE will be part of an engineering team that predominantly performs maintenance (preventive and reactive), implements critical software patches, provides technical support during major software upgrades, and supports system expansions (growing existing systems or implementing new solutions). The CSE may travel to customer locations to perform duties. Position is based in Warsaw.

Responsibilities

The role involves:

  • Performing maintenance activities (preventive and reactive).
  • Implementing critical software patches and supporting major software upgrades.
  • Providing technical support during system expansions or new solution deployments.
  • Traveling to customer locations to perform duties (travel typically 20% to 40%, across Poland and Europe).
Basic Requirements

What we expect:

  • Successfully completed technical training or degree in Telecommunications/IT (or a comparable qualification).
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar field is beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of IP network architecture and its components.
  • Ability to work independently on complex technical tasks.
  • High degree of independence and assertiveness.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Willingness to travel for several days in Poland and abroad (Europe) – 20% to 40% travel.
  • Availability and willingness to perform on-call duty (24/7).
  • EU citizenship with residence in Poland (Warsaw area).
  • Willingness to undergo security screening by the Ministry of the Interior.
  • Excellent communication skills in Polish & English (verbal, written and presentation).
  • Class B driving licence.
Highly Desirable (but not essential)
  • CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications.
  • RHEL Administrator Level 1 Certification.
