Job description

Lyten is leading an industrial revolution through Lyten 3D Graphene™, a breakthrough supermaterial unlocking a new generation of products — from lithium–sulfur batteries and energy storage systems to concrete admixtures, lightweight composites, and next‑generation sensors that are revolutionizing industries. Together, these innovations are making a massive global improvement and driving real‑world impact across energy, mobility, construction, and defense. At Lyten, we believe the most meaningful careers begin with purpose — and with people who want to make a difference. We’re not just developing advanced supermaterials — we’re about to change the world as we know it, reshaping how energy is stored, how products are built, and how progress is made. We’re entering an exciting growth phase, scaling production across the U.S. and Europe and expanding our team of engineers, scientists, and innovators.

As a Customer Quality Engineer, you are the voice of the customer inside Lyten and the voice of Lyten to the customer when it comes to product quality. • Investigating and resolving customer complaints and quality issues in a timely manner, keeping the customer informed throughout the process.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and driving the implementation of corrective and preventive actions, verifying their effectiveness before closing out customer issues.
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams (Production, R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supplier Quality) to develop and implement quality control processes that prevent recurrence.
  • Monitoring and reporting on customer quality performance metrics (e.g. complaint rates, response times, recurrence rates) to the Quality Management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Participating in customer audits and quality reviews, representing Lyten's quality standards and practices.
  • Developing and maintaining quality documentation relevant to customer quality, including inspection plans, test procedures, and quality reports.
  • Providing training and support to internal teams on quality standards, customer expectations, and best practices for issue resolution.
  • Feeding customer insights and field data back into internal processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Leading formal 8D problem‑solving and reporting for customer complaints, ensuring root cause, containment, and corrective actions are documented and communicated to the customer within agreed timelines.

  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple customer quality cases simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Certification in quality management (e.g. Six Sigma, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is an advantage
