Position Overview: The Country Finance Manager serves as a strategic partner and financial steward for Care Access’ international operations. Acting as the primary finance liaison for OUS business units and cross-functional teams, this role ensures transparency, budget accountability, and alignment with global objectives. By delivering timely analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting, the Country Finance Manager enables data-driven decision-making while fostering strong partnerships across the business.
What You'll Be Working On (Duties include but not limited to)
- Country Finance Function Development
- Partner with the SVP, Global Expansion and Country Director to design and implement localized finance and accounting frameworks in country.
- Stand up and maintain country-level financial infrastructure, including chart of accounts, banking arrangements, payment workflows, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with legal, tax, and compliance teams to align financial operations with country-specific regulatory requirements.
- Support local hiring and onboarding of finance resources or external accounting vendors as needed.
- Financial Planning & Operational Support
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis for each international entity.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support expansion planning, capital needs, and resource deployment.
- Build dashboards and reports to monitor the financial health of each region, with a focus on scalability and transparency.
- Business Partnering & Decision Support
- Act as the primary finance advisor to international GMs, operations leads, and site heads, driving accountability through KPIs and financial literacy.
- Deliver financial models and business cases in support of country launches, strategic investments, and localization decisions.
- Support pricing, cost modeling, and profitability analysis for international studies and contracts.
- Global Alignment & Integration
- Collaborate with U.S. finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate consolidation of OUS activity in NetSuite and other enterprise systems.
- Ensure consistent application of Care Access’ finance policies across countries while supporting practical local adaptations.
- Lead process documentation and job aid creation to ensure knowledge transfer and sustainability of localized finance processes.

- Country-Level Financial Leadership
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end finance operations for a country entity, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of local statutory requirements, GAAP/IFRS standards, tax compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Skilled at ensuring audit readiness and maintaining robust internal controls to safeguard assets and minimize risk.
- Business Partnership & Strategic Influence
- Trusted advisor to Country Manager and leadership teams, aligning financial planning with business strategies and operational objectives.
- Ability to translate financial insights into actionable strategies to drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost efficiency.
- Experienced in supporting new market initiatives, commercial partnerships, and country-specific business cases with data-driven analysis.
- Cash Flow, Treasury & Working Capital Stewardship
- Expertise in managing country-level cash flow, liquidity, and treasury operations within local banking ecosystems.
- Skilled at optimizing working capital through effective management of payables, receivables, and inventory cycles.
- Proven ability to balance liquidity needs with operational requirements and strategic investments.
- Systems, Processes & Continuous Improvement
- Proficient in ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and financial automation tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong focus on process optimization and standardization, driving scalable solutions tailored to local requirements.
- Experienced in ensuring seamless data flow between finance systems and business operations.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Track record of managing and developing finance teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Skilled at coaching, mentoring, and setting clear performance objectives to build high-performing country finance functions.
- Adept at working in matrixed environments, bridging local teams with regional and global finance leadership.
- Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Experienced in partnering with Legal, HR, Operations, Sales, and Tax to ensure compliance, support growth, and optimize resource allocation.
- Ability to influence diverse stakeholders by presenting clear financial insights and aligning country finance with global priorities.
- Skilled at navigating both centralized and decentralized organizational structures to deliver results.
Certifications/Licenses, Education, And Experience
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role overseeing finance operations.
- Hands-on experience managing core finance functions such as accounting close, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, billing, collections, disbursements, and revenue recognition.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, internal controls, and compliance frameworks, including IFRS and local GAAP requirements.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday) and related finance platforms; ability to leverage technology for efficiency and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and manage finance teams, fostering accountability, professional growth, and operational excellence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, create forecasts, and provide actionable insights for leadership.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, experienced in partnering cross-functionally with Legal, Sales, Operations, HR, and Procurement.
- Preferred:
- Experience supporting country or regional finance operations, with exposure to cash flow management, tax compliance, and statutory reporting.
- Participation in ERP implementations or system improvements, financial process optimization, or automation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycles, including reporting, KPI tracking, and audit documentation.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or transformation environments, such as post-acquisition integrations or entity launches.
- Knowledge of shared services models, vendor management, or intercompany transactions.
- Exposure to strategic financial analysis, including KPI dashboards, variance analysis, and performance reporting for decision support.Comfortable operating in data-rich environments, with the ability to lead teams in dashboard development, KPI reporting, and strategic financial analytics.
- Licenses:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)preferred, candidates with significant experience in financial operations leadership will be considered without certification.
