Job summary

ABB in Kraków invites engineers with a passion for cost-effective design to join our R&D team. You will contribute as an independent and reliable developer in projects, focusing on cost reduction for energy distribution products using DfA/DFM and Should-Cost analyses.

You'll lead or support cross-functional teams, facilitate workshops with international colleagues, and prepare documentation to present results to customers, helping ABB build a cleaner, smarter future.

Qualifications

• Experience with Design for Assembly/Manufacturing or Should Cost analyses.
• 3–4 years of experience in product or part designing.
• English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Working as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision.
• Leading or supporting R&D teams with cost reduction activities for energy distribution products (Design for Assembly, Design for Manufacturing analysis, Should Cost analysis).
• Facilitating workshops with international cross-functional teams.
• Preparing documentation and presenting analysis results to customers.

Education

Master degree in mechanical / electrical engineering
