Job summary

Daikin Europe Business Support in Warsaw is seeking a Sales Planner to support the Scandinavia region. You will partner with MD/Management and multiple stakeholders to drive sales strategy and financial planning.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 3 years of analytical experience, strong Excel skills, English proficiency, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work with occasional travel is offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Economics, Business or similar.
• 3 years of experience as a controller or in analytical positions with exposure to Top Management.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated flexibility to handle ad hoc requests and strict deadlines.
• Expert knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel for reporting.
• Proficient knowledge of English.
• Willingness to travel 1 month per year.

Responsibilities

• Partner with MD/Management to support business strategy and collaborate with Finance, Sales, HQ and Legal.
• Maintain full P&L oversight through variance analysis and action recommendations.
• Prepare, consolidate, and submit HQ reporting and budgets (MMR, ER, Anaplan).
• Report to Top-Management on P&L, budgets and revisions ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate budgeting cycles: Budget, Revised Budget, Forecast and data validation.
• Monitor SG&A spending and drive cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Execute internal controls (JSOX, self-assessments, monitoring).

Daikin Europe Business Support (DEBS) is a branch of DENV located in Warsaw. As a competency center we aim at being one of the driving forces behind the processes transformation: optimization, standardization and automation in the areas of supply, service, master data, controlling, financial reporting and HR.

We are currently looking for a colleague who will join our office in Warsaw – Daikin Europe Business Support (DEBS), a branch of DENV, as part of the team of sales and corporate planners responsible for the Scandinavia region. The team is partly based locally, and partly in Poland.

Daikin is present in Scandinavia with 4 local entities in Finland, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, responsible for the sales in the region. The team of planners is responsible to support and drive sales in the whole region, in close cooperation with the sales teams, the Managing Directors, and the Top Management of the four countries.

Your responsibilities

As a Sales Planner you will be responsible for several processes and you will closely cooperate with multiple stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic partnering with Managing Director/Management to support business strategy, as well as continuous cooperation with internal stakeholders (Finance, Sales, HQ, Legal)
• Keeping control of the full P&L of the entities under your responsibility through variance analysis (Actual vs Plan vs Forecast) and recommendation of actions
• Preparation, consolidation and submission of HQ reporting and budgets (MMR, ER, Anaplan)
• Reporting to Top-Management (P&L, Budget, Revised Budget, BOD) ensuring data accuracy, integrity and compliance in all reporting processes
• Budgeting cycles: Budget, Revised Budget, Forecast. Planning, data upload, validation
• Monitoring of SG&A spending and cost efficiency initiatives
• Internal control execution (JSOX controls, quarterly self-assessments, monitoring)

Experience, education and technical skills

• Master degree in Economics, Business or similar.
• 3 years of experience as a controller or in analytical positions (big 4), with exposure to Top Management roles.
• Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a complex, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrated flexibility to manage ad hoc requests and strict deadlines.
• Expert knowledge of MS Office, especially in the usage of MS Excel, able to create and maintain reports using complex formulas.
• Knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles is considered an advantage.
• Proficient knowledge of English.
• Flexibility to travel 1/month.

• Accurate level of work, with ability to dig into the details, without losing the helicopter view.
