Job summary

GFT Technologies SE is seeking a Core Banking Solution Architect Consultant to help banks modernise core platforms. You will design secure, scalable architectures and collaborate with business and tech stakeholders to enable transformation programmes.

You will work on cloud-native platforms and traditional Core Banking systems, guiding migrations and integrations while engaging with senior clients and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solution Architect, Domain Architect or Lead Architect within banking or financial services.
• Involvement in Core Banking implementation, migration or modernisation programmes.
• Experience with Core Banking platforms such as Thought Machine Vault, Mambu, 10x Banking, Engine by Starling, Temenos, Oracle FLEXCUBE or similar.

• Design end-to-end solutions for Core Banking transformation initiatives.
• Define target architectures and modernisation roadmaps.
• Support implementation and migration programmes.

What will you do?

As a Core Banking Solution Architect Consultant, you will help banks modernise, implement and migrate core banking platforms. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to design secure, scalable and future-ready solutions supporting critical banking processes and products.

You will play a key role in Core Banking transformation programmes involving modern cloud-native platforms as well as established core banking systems.

Your tasks

• Designing end-to-end solutions for Core Banking transformation initiatives.
• Defining target architectures and modernisation roadmaps.
• Supporting implementation and migration programmes.
• Designing integrations between Core Banking platforms, digital channels, payments, data and surrounding banking ecosystems.
• Leading architecture workshops and advising clients on solution design.
• Collaborating with engineering and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Supporting pre-sales activities, solution shaping and proposal preparation.

Your skills

• Core Banking Expertise
  • Experience as a Solution Architect, Domain Architect or Lead Architect within banking or financial services.
  • Proven involvement in Core Banking implementation, migration or modernisation programmes.
  • Experience with one or more Core Banking platforms such as:Thought Machine Vault, Mambu, 10x Banking, Engine by Starling, Temenos, Oracle FLEXCUBE or other leading Core Banking solutions.
  • Understanding of both modern cloud-native core platforms and traditional Core Banking systems.
• Banking Domain Knowledge
  • Good understanding of banking products and processes, including: Current & Savings Accounts, Deposits, Lending & Mortgages, Payments, Cards, General Ledger, AML / KYC
• Architecture & Technology
  • Experience with microservices, APIs and event-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
  • Understanding of security, resiliency and non-functional requirements.
