Job summary

Hard Rock Digital is seeking a talented Copywriter for its Creative Marketing team to shape copy across Casino channels and CRM. You will craft engaging, on-brand messages for email, social, in-app, and digital advertising, aligning with regulatory constraints.

You'll collaborate with designers, PMs, and marketing to ensure timely, high-quality, multi-format content that resonates with players and supports acquisition and retention in the competitive iGaming space.

Qualifications

About the Role

As a Copywriter on the Creative Marketing team, you'll help shape how Hard Rock Bet connects with players in the Casino segment. You'll concept and craft copy that brings our brand to life across digital, social, CRM, and campaign environments, driving both product awareness and player engagement. From compelling email campaigns and in-app messaging to bold out-of-home creative, you'll help fans experience the thrill of Hard Rock Bet wherever they play.

You'll collaborate closely with the creative team and cross-functional partners to bring ideas to life and ensure every word aligns with our brand voice and resonates authentically with our audience. Your primary mission will be to support the writing and execution of copy across the full marketing mix for Hard Rock Bet Casino.

What You'll Do

• Copy Production: Write and adapt copy for a variety of channels including social media, email, push notifications, in-app messaging, audio scripts, web, and digital advertising, tailored for Casino audiences

• Versioning & Adaptation: Execute multiple copy variations based on campaign briefs or master messaging, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and brand voice across all executions

• Quality Assurance: Proof and review copy assets for errors, ensuring every word is on-brand, grammatically sound, and compliant with regulatory requirements

• File Prep & Delivery: Prepare final copy for handoff, including proper formatting, versioning, and organization for various platforms and internal teams

• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, project managers, and marketing teams to meet deadlines and deliver cohesive, compelling creative

• Navigate Regulatory Requirements: Partner closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure copy meets regulatory standards across markets, finding creative ways to deliver bold, on-brand messaging within the constraints of a highly regulated industry

• Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest copywriting trends and best practices in digital marketing, with a particular eye on the iGaming industry

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in copywriting, content writing, or a related creative discipline

• Experience working in the iGaming industry is a significant advantage

• A strong portfolio demonstrating multi-format copy execution across digital, social, and CRM channels, with clear attention to brand voice and audience awareness

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills across a range of channels and formats

• Familiarity with AP Style as a baseline, with the flexibility to set it aside. Hard Rock Bet follows its own internal copy style guide, and our house rules take precedence. You should know AP Style well enough to navigate it, but you'll be writing to a brand voice that intentionally breaks some of its conventions

• Proficiency with AI-powered writing and content tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Copy.ai) and AI-enhanced editing tools (e.g., Grammarly Business, Hemingway). Comfort using AI to accelerate copy production, generate variations, and iterate quickly, while maintaining a strong editorial voice and brand standards

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills

• Well-versed in writing for digital platforms - social, email, push, in-app, web, and paid ads

• Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

• Familiarity with asset management systems and copy file organization best practices

• Collaborative mindset with experience working alongside designers, marketers, and product teams to refine creative approaches
