The Contracts Engineer Role


As a Contracts Engineer, you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and maximize commercial benefits throughout the project lifecycle. You will work collaboratively with the project management team to deliver projects on time, safely, and in line with the project plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts related to CCGT projects, including EPC contracts, PPAs, O&M agreements, and supplier/vendor contracts.
  • Ensure contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements in the energy sector.
  • Support the project management team in managing contract execution, amendments, and close-out processes.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks to prevent disputes and financial losses.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for contractual matters with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience, ideally in CCGT projects, or large-scale EPC construction projects
  • Familiarity with standard contractual documents, such as FIDIC, NEC, and MF-1
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in English
  • Full Polish working rights
