Job summary

Flix is looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join on a freelance/B2B service agreement. This role is hands-on and focused on strengthening Flix's security posture across applications, cloud services, and email security, with an emphasis on automation and secure-by-design practices.

You will work with security, infrastructure and software engineers, set up and tune SIEM, perform reviews of cloud and application security, develop SOAR automation in Python, and help build clear runbooks

Qualifications

• Experience across email, phishing, endpoint security, SIEM, WAF and cloud security.
• Strong Python scripting for automation and SOAR workflows.
• Terraform skills and cloud security experience.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support preventive security measures and SIEM monitoring.
• Automate incident responses using Python.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to resolve incidents.
