Overview

Join to apply for the Constructor - intralogistics industry role at Sii Poland.

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering Competence Center to carry out projects in the area of intralogistics for various clients. We are looking for a person who wants to grow in designing solutions to support the automation of manufacturing and warehousing processes, as well as participate in the development of innovative material handling systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of intralogistics equipment and systems (including automatic storage systems, belt conveyors, roller conveyors, sorting systems, feeding and receiving lines)
• Development of technical documentation and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Selection of mechanical and pneumatic components for material handling systems
• Cooperate with the production and assembly department, supervising the execution of projects in the execution phase
• Cooperation with international project teams and customers
• Support in optimization and standardization of intralogistics solutions

Qualifications

• Higher technical education: mechanics or mechatronics
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a designer
• Experience in designing intralogistics equipment or material handling machinery
• Knowledge of CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD)
• Ability to select mechanical and pneumatic components used in transportation systems
• Experience in design work involving collaboration with manufacturing and preparation of documentation
• Good knowledge of English - minimum B2 level
• Residence in Poland required
