Job summary

Intel in Poland (Gdansk) is seeking a Compiler Engineer Intern to contribute to Intel's compiler software stack within a scoped project. You will work with experienced engineers on MLIR-based representations, DSLs, and optimization, while connecting capabilities to AI frameworks like PyTorch and inference engines.

You will investigate problems, implement and test solutions, and communicate results to the team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in a technical field with at least 1 year of student status.
• Coursework or projects in data structures, algorithms, architecture, OS, languages or compiler construction.
• Experience programming in C/C++ and Linux development environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, implementation, testing or analysis of compiler and runtime tech.
• Develop and debug software in C or C++ within a large codebase.
• Create or improve tests, reproduce defects and help deliver reliable solutions.
• Evaluate correctness, compile-time behavior, runtime performance or code quality.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and planning with mentors.
• Document designs, experiments, results and lessons learned; present outcomes.
• Contribute to open-source projects aligned with the work.
