You will craft a multi-channel strategy that elevates Roche's reputation and supports the OneRoche approach across disease areas and leadership teams. You will manage media relationships, engage with journalists, and collaborate with Legal, Pharmacovigilance, and Communications colleagues to ensure compliant messaging.

The Position

Communication Partner play a crucial role in enhancing the company's reputation and solidifying Roche's position as a reliable and strategic partner in healthcare innovation. Role’s efforts help make a significant impact on patients' lives. Communication Partner collaborates closely with the leadership team as well as the Pharma portfolio teams. By understanding the strategic initiatives of the company, Communication Partner crafts and implements an effective multi-channel reputation and communication strategy, both internally and externally. Communication Partner is responsible for presenting Roche as an excellent workplace where every individual is appreciated, valued, and has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

The Opportunity

Co-creating and implementing Roche internal and external communication strategy in Poland: Plan and execute strategic corporate and disease area communication to build a positive image of Roche both externally and internally. Implement internal communication strategies that inform and inspire Roche employees. Develop engaging and innovative content for various internal and external distribution channels, such as social media, websites, newsletters, and press releases. Oversee presence in both traditional and digital media: actively monitor, listen, and interact with external and internal audiences, be aware of the global communication strategy and align the communication approach to local needs. Analyze data to identify opportunities to grow impressions, engagement, and overall Roche’s visibility. Utilize established metrics and KPIs to track and report on performance and progress. Monitor significant trends and communication channels to keep strategies current and effective. Ensure all Roche’s communication content meets compliance standards by collaborating with Legal & Compliance, Pharmacovigilance, and other essential departments. Foster the OneRoche approach to support company benefits and a unified corporate culture. Being mindful of working within the One Roche environment – planning and executing activities in individual projects in a manner that aligns with the OneRoche strategy. Point of contact for journalists and ability to represent the company as a media spokesperson: Cultivate a relevant network of journalists, media representatives, communication channel companies, and key opinion leaders in pertinent fields. Provide prompt, efficient, and credible responses to any media inquiries related to Roche. Develop proficiency in handling both traditional and digital media relationships. Business partner to Disease Areas Squads: Assist Disease Areas Squads in developing and executing creative communication strategies for disease awareness campaigns, product reimbursement processes and launches to maximize impact. Support and advise on effective and compliant communication approaches to engage with external audiences via communication channels. Ensure Disease Areas Squads education and understanding of both traditional and digital communication methods. Analyze data to identify opportunities to grow impressions, engagement, and overall DA messages visibility. Utilize established metrics and KPIs to track and report on performance and progress. Supporting executive communication internally and externally: Guide, advise, and partner with the Enabling Team to provide effective delivery of impactful, strategically aligned communications both internally and externally, ensuring messages reach the target audiences seamlessly. Support crisis and issue management: Providing essential support in managing crises and resolving issues, particularly in the realm of communication. The ability to swiftly and competently handle communication crises or issue situations, ensuring that all communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with Roche’s values and protocols. By leveraging strong crisis communication skills, Communication Partner helps mitigate risks, preserve the company’s reputation and maintain stakeholder trust during challenging times. Collaboration with PR Agencies: Evaluate the performance of PR agencies, oversee their actions, and take accountability for the work of hired vendors. Ensure collaborations align with Roche’s strategic goals and communication standards.

Comprehensive understanding of traditional media channels such as press, radio, television, and internet media, and know how to leverage these for optimal message reach. Demonstrates strategic thinking skills when planning communication activities. Communication and relationship building: Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal). Efficiently utilize a wide range of technologies to connect with diverse audiences and are quick to learn and adopt new technologies as needed. Strong networking, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, enabling to build robust and sustainable partnerships. Adept at handling both tactical and strategic communications, tailoring messages for multiple audiences (internal and external). Bring experience in supporting crisis communication, ensuring preparedness and effective response. Project management and execution: Actions focused on driving results, showcasing reliability, proactivity, f bearer* etc. Project management capabilities, allowing to handle multiple projects/disease areas simultaneously. Ability to manage and assess the performance of communication strategies both corporate and disease area related.
