Job summary

First Connect Insurance Services is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to own the security posture of our AWS environment, build guardrails with Terraform, and secure workloads across Kubernetes and ECS. You will implement security tooling, automation, and policy-as-code while aligning with SOC 2 Type II and financial-services regulations.

You will partner with DevOps and R&D teams in Poland, Israel, and the US to embed security in delivery, secure AI capabilities, and drive the secure path

Qualifications

• 6+ years in cloud/infrastructure engineering and information security.
• Production AWS experience including IAM, networking, encryption, and logging.
• Strong Terraform and Kubernetes/ECS experience.
• Hands-on coding in Python, TypeScript/Node, Go or similar.
• Experience building security tooling from scratch with ownership.
• Clear communication in English and Polish across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the security posture of the AWS environment and guardrails.
• Deploy CNAPP/CSPM, workload protection, logging, and detection.
• Integrate SAST, SCA, IaC and container scanning into pipelines.
• Secure AI usage and data handling across the company and product.
• Collaborate with DevOps and R&D across multiple countries.
• Be the go-to cloud security expert and enable secure delivery.
