Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Cloud Security Architect with AI expertise to shape secure cloud architectures across hybrid environments. The role emphasizes secure, resilient solutions and ongoing improvement of CSPM, IAM and cloud-native controls.

You will collaborate with cloud engineering, development and compliance teams, leveraging AI-assisted automation and security scripting to enhance threat detection and remediation while aligning with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of information security experience with a focus on security architecture and design.
• Experience delivering or significantly contributing to cloud security architecture, implementation or modernization projects.
• Strong hands-on expertise with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP) and its native security services and controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architectures across cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments, focusing on cloud security.
• Gather requirements to design secure cloud solutions for migrations and improvements.
• Define and improve CSPM capabilities, misconfiguration detection, compliance monitoring and remediation.
• Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling and risk assessments for cloud infrastructure, applications and integrations.
• Develop cloud security reference architectures, security standards, configuration baselines and secure design patterns.
• Evaluate cloud security technologies and automation solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into cloud solutions.
• Support security automation using IaC and scripting, including Terraform, PowerShell and Python.
• Explore AI-assisted security automation while ensuring data protection and oversight.
