Volkswagen Financial Services Poland is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Manager (Azure Services) to lead governance, operation, and evolution of our Azure cloud platform supporting critical business applications in a multi-hybrid environment. Job description

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Manager (Azure Services) to lead the governance, operation, and continuous evolution of our Azure cloud platform.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our cloud platform delivers secure, reliable, compliant, and cost-effective services that support critical business applications across a multi-hybrid cloud environment. You will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external service providers, ensuring that platform capabilities align with strategic business objectives.

As a platform owner, you will drive governance, operational excellence, service quality, financial transparency, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting the organization's cloud transformation journey.

Main Tasks:

• Own and manage the Azure cloud platform service portfolio, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies.
• Define and maintain the platform roadmap, governance framework, and operating model.
• Oversee day-to-day platform operations, coordinating activities across internal teams and external service providers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, standardization, operational efficiency, and service quality.
• Ensure platform stability, security, compliance, and adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, monitoring service quality and contractual performance.
• Establish and track KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics to measure platform performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, security, and application teams to support cloud adoption and platform evolution.
• Drive cloud financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, cost transparency, and optimization initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating business needs into platform capabilities and service improvements.
• Support strategic cloud transformation programs and ensure successful delivery of platform-related initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in cloud platform management, IT infrastructure leadership, cloud operations, or cloud governance roles.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale cloud environments and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services, cloud governance, security, compliance, and operating models.
• Experience managing external service providers, vendor relationships, and outsourced service delivery models.
• Knowledge of financial management, budgeting, cloud cost governance, and optimization practices.
• Experience leading cross-functional and international teams in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership.
• Proven experience defining service roadmaps, governance frameworks, performance metrics, and service improvement initiatives.
• Professional proficiency in English and Polish.

Preferred:

One or more of the following certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)

Additionally considered an advantage:

• TOGAF certification.
• Experience working within regulated industries, particularly financial services.
• Experience managing multi-provider cloud environments and complex sourcing models.
