Job summary

InPost in Poland is seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to support our Network Team in evolving network architectures across Europe.

This role will involve designing cloud network solutions, automating deployments, and enhancing network security within complex environments. Candidates should possess a strong networking background and at least 3 years of relevant experience. We foster an inclusive culture and offer a B2B contract.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in GCP Cloud Networking.
• Solid networking knowledge (minimum CCNA/CCNP level or equivalent).
• Practical knowledge of network security implementations (Fortinet, Palo Alto).

• Design and maintain cloud network architectures in Google Cloud Platform.
• Automate cloud network provisioning using Terraform, IaC, Ansible.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network incidents across Data Center and GCP environments.

We are looking to collaborate with an experienced Cloud Network Engineer who will partner with our Network Team and contribute to building and evolving network architecture at a European scale.

This role offers an opportunity to work on complex, high-impact environments where cloud, automation and network security play a critical role.

Scope of collaboration

Network architecture & design

• Design, evolve and maintain cloud network architectures in Google Cloud Platform (VPC, NCC, Cloud Router, routing, load balancing, Cloud NAT, Cloud DNS).
• Build and maintain hybrid connectivity solutions (Cloud Interconnect, VPC Peering, Cloud VPN).
• Design scalable, resilient and highly available LAN/WAN topologies.
• Contribute to Software Defined Networking initiatives, including policy-based network automation (Cisco ACI).

Network implementation & automation

• Plan and configure GCP networking environments.
• Automate cloud network provisioning using Terraform, IaC, Ansible and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement network security policies, segmentation and access control using FortiGate and Palo Alto NGFW.
• Configure and manage Cisco routers (ISR/ASR) and switches (Catalyst, Nexus) across access, distribution and core layers.
• Deploy VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN) and GRE tunnels.

Operations & optimization

• Diagnose and resolve complex network incidents across Data Center and GCP environments.
• Analyze and improve network performance.
• Maintain and update technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams, providing expert guidance on network solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in GCP Cloud Networking
• Solid networking knowledge (minimum CCNA/CCNP level or equivalent)
• Experience with automation and GitOps practices
• Practical knowledge of network security implementations (Fortinet, Palo Alto)
• Strong understanding of dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
• Good knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
• Availability for on-call rotations
• English proficiency (min. B2, written and spoken)
• Category B driving license

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring, observability and alerting in network environments
• Familiarity with Cisco ACI
