Job summary

Kingfisher in Kraków is seeking a Senior FinOps Engineer to lead cloud cost management, optimisation, and reporting across engineering platforms and cloud environments. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Finance and Procurement to improve cost visibility and forecasting in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud cost analysis and building dashboards.
• Proven track record in cloud cost optimisation and forecasting.
• Strong collaboration with engineering, product and finance teams.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud cost management, optimisation, and reporting across engineering platforms and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Finance and Procurement to improve cost visibility and governance.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, forecasting models, and monthly reports for cloud spend.
• Drive cost optimisation initiatives: reserved instances, savings plans, rightsizing, waste reduction.
• Maintain and evolve cloud cost KPIs and standard reporting metrics.
