Job summary

Volue is hiring an Enterprise Architect to lead enterprise architecture strategy and cloud platform implementation. You will drive architectural excellence, define standards, and guide multi-region Azure deployments with Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development with 5+ years in cloud architecture roles.
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and business-technology alignment.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: design patterns, SOLID principles, clean architecture.
• DevOps, DevSecOps and FinOps expertise with hands-on experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes (AKS), Helm, and Crossplane for cloud resource provisioning.
• Experience with GitOps (FluxCD, ArgoCD), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Crossplane).
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, or Java for cloud-native application development.
• Strong knowledge of API design, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with platform engineering principles and developer experience optimization.
• Understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, mentorship, and communication skills with ability to influence across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture roadmaps aligned with business objectives across multiple product lines.
• Define governance frameworks and standards for consistent architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architecture strategies.
• Lead architectural decision-making and reviews for complex software design challenges.
• Architect and implement scalable Azure cloud solutions and multi-region setups using Kubernetes (AKS).
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives with AKS and containerized apps.
• Implement GitOps workflows with FluxCD and IaC with Crossplane and Terraform.
• Define Platform Engineering, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices to streamline workflows.
• Drive security, governance, and cost optimization in cloud architectures.
• Oversee observability stack (Loki, Grafana, Prometheus) and disaster recovery planning.
• Mentor engineering teams and lead automation initiatives.
