Job summary

Auctane is seeking a Cloud Engineer in Poland (Wroclaw area) to manage and optimize core cloud infrastructure. The role emphasizes security, cost control, and automation to support all engineering teams and scalable growth.

The engineer will build cloud hygiene practices, oversee SaaS permissions and licenses, and drive automation to enable rapid, secure delivery of business objectives. This role includes on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• Hands-on AWS in production environments.
• Experience with Terraform and immutable infrastructure as code.
• Containerisation and orchestration experience.
• DevOps practices, scripting (Bash/Python) and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate scalable, secure infrastructure 24x7.
• Ensure security, cost control and high availability.
• Automate workflows to accelerate software delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across the software lifecycle.
• Implement cloud-native designs and observability.
• Respond to on-call shifts and security threats as needed.
