Job summary

Thrive IT Systems in Kraków is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based environments. You will implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and automation tools, and develop scripts in Python, Bash, and Groovy to automate infrastructure and workflows.

You will automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible, support GCP services, and ensure system reliability, security, and compliance in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Experience in Linux administration and scripting.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to manage operational issues and contribute to continuous improvement in system reliability and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and environments to support internal projects.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related automation tools.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash/Shell, and Groovy.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
• Support cloud-native platforms and services, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Automate operational workflows to ensure systems remain compliant, secure, and up to date.
• Apply DevSecOps principles throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and perform root cause analysis for major or recurring incidents.
• Develop and implement remediation plans to improve system stability and service delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
