Job summary

Bosch is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Bosch Development Cloud (BDC) in Microsoft Azure. You will design and build scalable APIs, enhance the Developer Portal UI, and automate cloud infrastructure.

The role offers hybrid work and opportunities to work with AI-assisted development tools and modern CI/CD practices. You will collaborate in an agile team, focusing on backend APIs, frontend features, or a mix, using TypeScript/JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python, and leveraging Azure services

Qualifications

• Experience with designing and consuming APIs and backend systems, and interest in modern frontend or full-stack work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with internal customers.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python.
• Familiarity with modern web frameworks (React/Angular) for portal development.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with AI-powered tooling like GitHub Copilot is a plus.
• Knowledge of Git and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluency in English in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop and enhance user-facing features on the BDC Developer Portal.
• Connect and automate internal engineering tools with the cloud platform.
• Manage and deploy cloud infrastructure using Terraform in Azure.
• Automate testing and deployment with Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot to write, optimize, and document code.
• Participate in an agile Scrum team to translate user needs into code.
