Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced data engineer to design and build scalable data processing platforms in Data Lake / Data Platform architectures. You will create and manage ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure Databricks, model data, and support analytics teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in processing and integrating large data volumes.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with Spark / PySpark and data processing frameworks.
• Experience designing and building Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.
• Azure cloud data projects (Databricks, ADF, Synapse, Fabric).

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and developing scalable data processing platforms in Data Lake / Data Platform architectures.
• Create and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from various sources in Azure Databricks.
• Model data and tailor structures for analytic and business needs.
• Implement batch and near real-time data processing solutions.
• Monitor, optimize, and improve existing pipelines and workflows.
• Collaborate with data analysts, BI, and Data Science teams to prepare data.
• Gather business requirements and propose optimal technological solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions.
• Mentor less experienced team members and share best practices.
