Job summary

ICON plc is seeking a Clinical Associate to support the design, implementation, and management of clinical trials, contributing to innovative treatments.

You will assist in planning, execution, and monitoring, coordinate site initiation, recruitment, data collection, and monitoring visits, and collaborate across Clinical Operations, Data Management, and Biometrics. Travel approximately 60% is required. Flexible, inclusive culture offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare field.
• Previous experience in clinical research or healthcare, preferably within pharma/biotech/CRO.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional study teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of clinical trials in line with protocol and regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate site initiation, patient recruitment, data collection, and monitoring visits for accurate data capture and documentation.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Data Management, and Biometrics to support trial execution.
• Maintain comprehensive study documentation and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Support study close-out activities including data cleaning and preparation of clinical study reports.
