Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a Clearance Broker in Kraków to support timely customs clearance and regulatory compliance. You will prepare entry documentation, verify paperwork, and input shipment data accurately into our systems.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in German and English (minimum B2), a team player with strong communication, attention to detail, and tight-deadline time management. Previous customer service experience and MS Office skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customs entry documentation based on paperwork supplied with the shipment.
• Check that all customs documentation is completed correctly.
• Contact clients by email to provide missing or unclear information for clearance.
• Ensure accurate input of shipment data into appropriate systems.
• Produce and validate customs data and paperwork to meet compliance standards and timely clearance.
• Ensure accuracy within a fast-paced goal-oriented environment.

As a Clearance Broker you will work closely with Customs to enable our on-time clearance and delivery. You will ensure checks and processes are completed that result in timely and effective processing of transactions and legal and regulatory compliance. In this position efficient, courteous and professional communication and taking ownership of issues / requirements are key to the role. You will be responsible for:

• Preparing customs entry documentation based on paperwork supplied with the shipment.
• Checking if all customs documentation is completed correctly.
• Contacting clients by email to provide any missing or unclear information necessary to allow customs clearance.
• Ensure the correct identification and accurate input of shipment information into appropriate systems.
• Produce and validate customs data and paperwork to support the achievement of regulatory and internal compliance standards and to ensure timely clearance.
• Ensuring accuracy within a fast-paced goal orientated environment
