Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Compliance/Classification professional in Poland to determine HTS codes and country of origin for products. You will read BOMs and engineering drawings, create documentation, and monitor shipments while ensuring adherence to global procedures.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, logistics, or engineering, and proficiency in English and Polish with 1+ years in compliance activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, International Business, Operations, Logistics, or Engineering.
• Fluent English and Polish skills.
• 1+ years of experience in classification and import/export compliance activities.

Responsibilities

• Determine global HTS codes and country of origin for all products.
• Read Bills of Material and engineering drawings to interpret data.
• Create backup documentation for product classifications and origin per procedures.
• Monitor inbound/outbound shipments for missing classification data.
• Navigate SAP/IFS to troubleshoot daily transactions.
• Ensure compliance with Rockwell Automation global procedures and meet monthly metrics.

Your Responsibilities:

• General knowledge of the following regulations and rules: Harmonized Tariff Schedule on a global level following WCO rules and regulations.
• Global Country of Origin rules U.S. Export Administration Regulations and the Commerce Control List and working knowledge of foreign export control laws.
• Determine global HTS codes, COO for all products.
• Read and interpret Bills of Material, engineering drawings and other technical data.
• Create adequate backup documentation for product classifications and country of origin per department procedures.
• Working knowledge of global Free Trade Agreements and how to determine eligibility.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments for missing classification data.
• Release orders on hold in the systems.
• Navigate SAP/IFS systems to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise in daily transactions.
• Respond to classification inquiries from outside of the department.
• Work on projects as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with Rockwell Automation global procedures.
• Achieve results for monthly metrics.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree in and of the following areas: Business Management, International Business, Operations, Logistics, and Engineering.
• English+ Polish skills.
• 1-+ years of experience in classification and import/export compliance activities.
