Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Security Consultant to guide entry into the Chinese market for cloud-based solutions and software products. The role requires bridging legal, compliance, privacy, and technical considerations to develop viable market entry strategies, with a fully remote setup and cross‑functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in cybersecurity/compliance, deep cloud knowledge, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years in cybersecurity and compliance roles.
Deep expertise in cloud-related cybersecurity and regulatory controls.
Advanced understanding of China's data residency and privacy laws.
Hands-on knowledge of Azure China and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Assess regulatory, cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance requirements for China operations.
Advise on operating models, hosting options, and cloud architecture approaches.
Define compliant security requirements aligned with global standards.
Identify risks, regulatory constraints, and market entry challenges with mitigations.
Support stakeholder alignment across business, legal, compliance, privacy, security, and tech.
Provide a practical roadmap for a compliant go-to-market in China.
Facilitate discussions and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
Guide the organization through market entry including legal entity and regulatory obligations.
