Job summary

Calan is seeking a Chief Accountant responsible for the preparation and declaration of financial statements under IFRS, tax returns, and compliance with internal controls and external regulations. You will work closely with auditors and our European HQ to optimize financial processes.

You will lead the accounting team, manage postings and reconciliations, and collaborate with external institutions. English fluency is required, and Polish GAAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completed studies with focus on finance and accounting, alternatively accountant or tax consultant.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in an international corporate environment or in auditing.
• Sound accounting knowledge and very good analytical skills.
• Financial statement security according to IFRS and Polish GAAP.
• Very good Excel skills and ERP system knowledge.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
