Qualifications

About Our Client

Our client is an international industrial company planning dynamic growth. The company recently completed a merger and plans further expansion in the near future. Their modern office recently opened in Krakow. The annual turnover is approximately €25 million.

Job Description
  • Establish and maintain effective and beneficial relationships with Corporate, providing prompt responses and suggesting value-added improvements
  • Compile financial statements in accordance with both local and international accounting standards, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
  • Generate and deliver monthly financial reports to Corporate, adhering to Group accounting policies and utilizing internal systems (SAP/HF)
  • Prepare all tax returns (VAT, CIT, Intrastat)
  • Coordinate financial audits, conduct risk assessments, and oversee cash flow control
  • Prepare Group reporting, including monthly results, budgeting, forecasting, and budgetary control
  • Oversee local treasury and banking operations
The Successful Applicant
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant in an international company
  • Strong knowledge of Polish accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Knowledge of Polish Accounting Act and IFRS
  • Experience with SAP
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Fluency in Polish and English
  • Excellent organizational skills
