About Our Client
Our client is an international industrial company planning dynamic growth. The company recently completed a merger and plans further expansion in the near future. Their modern office recently opened in Krakow. The annual turnover is approximately €25 million.
Job Description
- Establish and maintain effective and beneficial relationships with Corporate, providing prompt responses and suggesting value-added improvements
- Compile financial statements in accordance with both local and international accounting standards, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
- Generate and deliver monthly financial reports to Corporate, adhering to Group accounting policies and utilizing internal systems (SAP/HF)
- Prepare all tax returns (VAT, CIT, Intrastat)
- Coordinate financial audits, conduct risk assessments, and oversee cash flow control
- Prepare Group reporting, including monthly results, budgeting, forecasting, and budgetary control
- Oversee local treasury and banking operations
The Successful Applicant
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant in an international company
- Strong knowledge of Polish accounting standards and tax regulations
- Knowledge of Polish Accounting Act and IFRS
- Experience with SAP
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
- Fluency in Polish and English
- Excellent organizational skills
