Patrianna is a fast-growing product development company embracing a fully remote, globally distributed team. We are seeking a sharp Chargeback Analyst to own dispute resolution end-to-end, investigating fraud, defending chargebacks, and staying ahead of bad actors in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

You will analyze disputes, apply sanctions or account restrictions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce chargeback rates while maintaining strong governance and data-driven

Qualifications

• You have hands-on experience in chargeback or dispute processing across the full lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Visa and Mastercard rules and procedures.
• Experience with USA and/or European gaming accounts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve chargeback disputes accurately and on time following card network rules.
• Analyze reported chargebacks and return transactions with bank validations and checks.
• Make evidence-based decisions and apply appropriate sanctions or restrictions.
• Prepare documentation to defend disputes and support monthly reconciliations.
• Monitor dispute rates and generate actionable reports for the team.

The Role

We're looking for a sharp, detail-driven Chargeback Analyst to own dispute resolution end-to-end - investigating fraud, defending chargebacks, and helping us stay one step ahead of bad actors.

What You Will Be Doing

• You'll investigate and resolve chargeback disputes accurately and on time, following Visa/Mastercard rules and procedures to the letter.


• You'll dig into reported chargebacks and return transactions — running bank validations, IP searches, phone matches, and external checks to build a complete picture.


• You'll make clear, evidence-backed decisions on fraud cases and apply the right sanctions or account restrictions.


• You'll prepare robust documentation to defend disputes and contribute to monthly reconciliations across chargebacks, updates, and bank accounts.


• You'll monitor dispute rates, analyze account trends, and produce detailed, actionable reports to keep the team informed.


• You'll collaborate cross-functionally — flagging fraud trends, sharing best practice recommendations, and actively contributing to chargeback reduction.

What We Are Looking For

• A proven track record in chargeback or dispute processing, with deep hands-on experience across the full dispute lifecycle.


• In-depth knowledge of Visa and Mastercard rules, regulations, and procedures.


• Experience working with USA and/or European gaming accounts — this is a genuine advantage.


• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities without needing close supervision.


• A proactive, problem-solving mindset — you spot process gaps and suggest fixes, not just flag issues.


• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the confidence to engage clearly across teams and departments.
