Job summary

TD SYNNEX Poland in Warsaw is seeking a proactive Category Manager to own vendor relationships and drive profitable growth within the IT portfolio. You will collaborate across functions to implement strategy, optimize pricing, and ensure data integrity and timely reporting.

The role focuses on lifecycle management, contract oversight, and leveraging SAP R3 and Business Warehouse to deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Business Unit strategy aligned with growth goals.
• Lead vendor pricing strategy with profit team to review elasticity.
• Collaborate with BI to provide market reports and trend analyses.
• Support development of direct reports and team managers.
• Own full product and vendor lifecycle management including contracts.
• Maintain operational and commercial relationships with vendor stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements across commercial and operations.
• Ensure CRM tools used for business continuity.
• Contribute input into quarterly vendor business planning and execution.

Job Purpose

Vendor, Technology or Business Unit, Profit & Loss (P&L), commercial and operational ownership by collaborating with all relevant business functions to deliver best in class systems, tools, processes, financial data integrity and reporting

Responsibilities

• Execute the Business Unit strategy in full alignment with the agreed strategy to grow profitable market share.
• Lead the vendor pricing strategy through collaboration with profit team to review price elasticity and handle exception management
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to provide market reports and analysis, and using this data to identify trends to make sound business proposals
• Support development of direct reports and/or development of divisional assistant category managers (ACM's)
• Ownership for full product and vendor lifecycle management, including system accuracy, product adoption & creation and contract management
• Hold operational & commercial relationship with vendor key stakeholders
• Identification of commercial & operational process improvements
• Ensure ongoing use of CRM tools to ensure best in class business continuity
• Input into quarterly vendor business planning and execution.
