Job summary

Jobsi in Kosowo, Poland, is seeking a Carpenter’s Assistant to support frame assembly and machine operations. The role is based onsite in Kosowo with accommodation provided and a contract of mandate. You will work in two rotating shifts and benefit from free transport to the site.

Job description

Position: Carpenter’s Assistant (W/M/NB) Workplace: Kosowo (30 km from Gdańsk)
Accommodation: Kartuzy
Employment: Contract of mandate (Umowa zlecenie)

Salary:

• Guaranteed rate: 31.40 PLN gross/hour
• Payments: regular, between the 15th and 20th of each month

Duties:

• Women: gluing and sanding frames, placing parts on machines.
• Men: working with saws, machining centers, carrying small furniture parts (max. 3.5 kg). Heavier elements are carried by 4 people to avoid injuries. Processing parts on machines.

Work schedule:

• 2 shifts, 9 hours each
• 1st shift: Mon–Fri 06:00–15:00, Sat 06:00–13:00
• 2nd shift: Mon–Fri 15:00–24:00
• Shifts rotate every 2 weeks

Accommodation:

• Comfortable houses with full equipment, 2 people per room
• Bring your own bedding and dishes
• Cost: 200–230 PLN/month (deducted from salary)

Transport:

• Free transport to work

Additional information:

• Work clothes provided by the company (after 2 weeks of work)
• Hall temperature: +20°C to +22°C
• On site: canteen, locker room, and showers
