Job summary

Veeam is seeking a C# Developer to join the team ensuring robust security for the API across current and upcoming versions of Veeam Backup and Replication. The role focuses on secure operations, RBAC, and automated tooling for permissions verification, working with an international team.

You will develop internal security tools, collaborate with Application Security, and contribute to secure software design and testing practices within a global company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in commercial product development.
• Proven experience in C# development with a focus on security.
• Familiarity with API development and security best practices.
• Experience with automated testing and tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and T-SQL; database management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal security tools.
• Collaborate with the Application Security team to analyze CWEs and prepare QA reports.
• Develop and support tools for automating permission checks, role models, and RBAC.
• Research and implement secure operations with .NET Remoting.
