Job summary

Veeam Software, Inc. is seeking a C# Developer to reinforce robust security for the API across Veeam Backup and Replication. You will work with the Application Security team to secure access controls and automate permission verifications, while building internal security tools.

The role emphasizes strong C# development with security, API expertise, and collaboration with international teams, including CI/CD pipelines and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial product development.
• Proven experience in C# development, with a focus on security.
• Familiarity with API development and security best practices.
• Experience with automated testing and tools.
• Knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, and database management.
• English proficiency sufficient to communicate with international teams.

Responsibilities

About The Role

We are looking for a C# Developer to join the team that ensures robust security measures for the API across current and upcoming versions of Veeam Backup and Replication.

What You'll Do

• Development of internal security tools
• Collaborating with the Application Security team to analyze and resolve identified CWEs, and preparing reports for QA
• Developing and supporting tools for automating the verification of permissions, the role model, and RBAC
• Researching and implementing solutions for secure operation with .NET Remotin
