Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering with relevant reactor core design coursework.
  • Experience in nuclear reactor core design and neutronics/thermal-hydraulics analysis.
  • Experience with at least one reactor analysis code (Serpent, MCNP, LANCR, PANAC, OpenMC) or equivalents.
  • Ability to perform core design and analysis with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Support BWR fuel development initiatives and non-BWR core design efforts.
  • Contribute to development, documentation, and improvement of design procedures.
  • Assist in applying new methodologies for reactor design applications.
  • Perform engineering analyses for core design and fuel design activities.
  • Maintain and document nuclear analysis codes and methods; present data to stakeholders.
