Job description

As part of our development in Southern Europe, we are looking for a Buyer to support one of our clients in the e-mobility and smart energy sector, specifically on the purchasing of components for connected charging products. This is a highly autonomous role, with full ownership of the purchasing operations and direct supplier relationship management. You will act as the single point of contact for all purchasing topics within this business unit, contributing directly to supply chain continuity and strategic procurement.

Your missions
  • Manage the procurement of direct materials: PCBA, plastics, cables, packaging, screws, brochures, and other components for finished electronic products
  • Oversee ~60 suppliers and ~280 orders per year, with a purchasing spend of ~€15M annually
  • Ensure supplier documentation, codification, and master data updates (banking, contact info, etc.)
  • Drive contract management with legal and internal stakeholders
  • Handle escalations with suppliers (quality, pricing, delivery, technical issues)
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Use SAP B1 for all procurement operations and manage manual activities independently
  • Coordinate with the supply chain team on order quantities, pickup schedules, and cost optimization
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers where needed, run RFQs/RFIs, and conduct negotiations
  • Take full ownership of the end-to-end purchasing cycle
Your profile
  • Previous experience as a Buyer in direct materials, ideally in electronics or industrial components
  • Ability to manage complex and broad scopes in full autonomy
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Experience with SAP B1 or similar ERP systems
  • Comfortable managing both strategic and operational procurement tasks
  • Fluent in English; Italian or Polish is a plus
  • Ideally based in Italy or Poland, but open to other locations depending on the profile
  • Open to both junior and senior profiles, depending on experience and adaptability
