Since mid-2023, our Northern Ireland division has experienced significant growth, driven by successful framework wins with the Health and Social Care (HSC) sector and partnerships with private, voluntary, and not-for-profit organizations.
Our commercial team is expanding rapidly, and we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Manager to lead this growth, drive operational excellence, and develop high-performance teams in the region.
Role Overview:
The Business Manager for Northern Ireland will be responsible for the full operational and strategic oversight of our rapidly growing division. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will lead the team, driving performance, business development, and client relationship management. You’ll be expected to manage the P&L for the Northern Ireland division and work closely with the senior leadership team to shape the long-term vision and strategy.
The role also involves working closely with central operations teams responsible for talent attraction, compliance, candidate file maintenance, and shift booking, ensuring that the commercial team can focus on in-person client and candidate engagement.
This is a senior leadership role and requires a highly experienced individual with proven expertise in recruitment (preferably healthcare recruitment) and a strong track record in managing growing teams in Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
Professional Skills:
•Experience in Healthcare Recruitment: Previous experience in healthcare recruitment in Northern Ireland, ideally in public, private, and voluntary sectors.
•Leadership Experience: Proven experience managing and leading a recruitment team or commercial division with demonstrable success.
•Financial Acumen: Experience in managing P&L, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
•Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and implement long-term growth strategies based on market insights and business needs.
•Client Relationship Management: Strong relationship-building skills with key stakeholders, clients, and candidates.
•Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and recruitment systems.
