Job summary

Fresenius Digital Technology, part of Fresenius Group, seeks a driven BCM professional to implement and advance group-wide Business Continuity Management in a regulated, international setting. You will drive BIAs, risk analyses, and recovery planning in collaboration with Group IT and corporate functions.

The role offers hybrid work in Wrocław or remote options, supporting resilience and continuous operations across healthcare, production and logistics domains.

Qualifications

• Degree in business administration, IT, security management or comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in Business Continuity Management, crisis management or IT Service Continuity.
• Strong knowledge of BCM standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO 22301, NIS2, KRITIS).
• Experience collaborating with IT organizations, particularly in IT services, disaster recovery and infrastructure.
• Structured, process-oriented and self-reliant way of working.
• Strong communication and coordination skills in a complex, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and continuously develop group-wide Business Continuity Management (BCM) in the Corporate segment, considering group requirements and regulatory obligations (e.g. NIS2, KRITIS, ISO 22301).
• Ensure continuity of business-critical, IT-supported processes with dependencies on central IT services.
• Plan, coordinate and conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and define RTO/RPO and IT dependencies.
• Develop, maintain and standardize BCM Plans (BCP), crisis management concepts and recovery strategies with relevant interfaces, especially Group IT.
• Ensure integration of Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery with aligned recovery sequences and minimum IT service requirements.
• Plan and manage regular tests and exercises (simulations, end-to-end tests) and derive improvements.
• Establish and operate a BCM governance framework with reporting, monitoring and tracking of measures.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with group-wide requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Coordinate crisis management and align Corporate functions with Group IT during incidents.
• Promote awareness and resilience through training, communication and advisory support.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the implementation and continuous development of group-wide Business Continuity Management (BCM) in the Corporate segment, taking into account group-wide requirements and regulatory obligations (e.g. NIS2, KRITIS, ISO 22301)
• You ensure the continuity of business-critical, IT-supported processes, with particular consideration of dependencies on central IT services
• You plan, coordinate and conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and ensure the quality and completeness of the results, including the definition of RTO/RPO and IT dependencies
• You develop, maintain and standardize Business Continuity Plans (BCP), crisis management concepts and recovery strategies in close alignment with relevant interfaces, particularly Group IT
• You ensure the integration of Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery, including aligned recovery sequences and defined minimum requirements for IT services
• You plan and manage regular tests and exercises (e.g. simulations, end-to-end tests), assess their effectiveness and derive targeted improvement measures
• You establish and operate a BCM governance framework, including reporting, monitoring and tracking of measures
• You support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with group-wide requirements and regulatory obligations
• You actively contribute to crisis management and, in the event of an incident, coordinate alignment between Corporate functions and Group IT
• You promote awareness and resilience across the organization through training, communication measures and advisory support for business functions

Your profile:

• Successfully completed degree in business administration, IT, security management or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in Business Continuity Management, crisis management or IT Service Continuity, ideally in an international and regulated environment
• Strong knowledge of BCM standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO 22301, NIS2, KRITIS)
• Experience in collaborating with IT organizations, particularly in the context of IT services, disaster recovery and infrastructure
• Structured, process-oriented and self-reliant way of working
• Strong communication and coordination skills in a complex, international environment
