Overview

Business Analyst in Private Banking Transformation Project (Zurich-based Engagement)

Responsibilities

• Leading or supporting business and system analysis across front, middle, and back-office processes


• Facilitating workshops with client stakeholders to gather and refine requirements


• Documenting business processes, functional specifications, and system requirements


• Defining integration interfaces and contributing to the design and testing of API and file-based integrations


• Planning and executing data migration activities, including mapping, cleansing, enrichment, and reconciliation


• Participating in system configuration, UAT/SIT cycles, and cutover/dress rehearsal planning


• Collaborating with stakeholders across business and IT to ensure alignment and quality of deliverables

Our requirements

• Experience in financial services IT projects, ideally in Private Banking


• Minimum 2 years - Junior BA


• Minimum 5 years - Senior BA


• Strong analytical and documentation skills, including UML, BPMN, and writing functional/technical specs


• Understanding of integration architecture (APIs, messaging, file-based), especially in banking ecosystems


• Fluency in English (German is a plus)


• Willingness to travel to Zurich Mon-Fri for on-site project work


• Academic degree in IT, Finance, or a related field

We also appreciate

• Deep knowledge of private banking operations such as onboarding, portfolio management, order execution, compliance


• Hands-on experience with Temenos Core Banking or comparable systems (Guidewire, Avaloq, SAP, etc.)


• Familiarity with FI-Master / securities reference data, pricing feeds, and instrument classification


• Experience working with Portfolio Analysis tools, OMS, CRM, tax reporting and related satellite systems
