Job summary

SIX is looking for a Customer Experience professional to help shape SIX Flex, a high-volume data delivery platform distributing structured financial information worldwide. You will translate client needs into data solutions and collaborate with Product and Content Managers to deliver impactful data services.

You will design data models for financial instruments, work with developers in an agile environment, and contribute to standardization and data migration across international markets.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and market structures.
• Ability to analyse market or regulatory changes to identify opportunities.
• Experience with data modelling tools and development environments.
• Proficiency with SQL and MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Git and VS Code in an agile setting.
• English fluency required for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design data models to ensure accurate delivery of financial data via files, APIs, and cloud products.

What You Will Do

• Analyze and design data models to ensure accurate and complete delivery of financial data through file deliveries, Web APIs, and cloud-based products.
• Collaborate with Product and Content Managers to translate customer needs into actionable data solutions.
• Conduct studies, pre-analyses, and create detailed functional specifications for new data content and enhancements.
• Design and maintain data models with a strong focus on financial instruments and market structures.
• Contribute and support projects including standardization, data migration, and testing activities in an international environment.
• Working closely with developers during implementation.
• Working in an agile environment.

What You Bring

• Good understanding of financial markets, including key players, instruments, trading mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity of various financial instruments such as equities, bonds, mutual funds, derivatives, indices, FX, and ESG-related data.
• Passion for becoming a subject matter expert across multiple asset classes and financial data domains.
• Ability to analyse market or regulatory changes to identify opportunities for product improvement.
• Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with data modelling tools, version control systems (e.g., GIT), and development environments (e.g., VS Code).
