Job summary

Arup Poland is offering a BIM Modeller Trainee role to continue your career in BIM and contribute to groundbreaking projects that shape our future. You will work within the design team to create BIM models for MEP installations and related documentation, ensuring compliance with BIM standards and coordinating with colleagues.

You will develop technical skills through structured training and mentoring, gaining exposure to the latest tools and programming languages used in BIM within a global firm.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's degree in an engineering or construction-related discipline.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with visual programming environments like Dynamo.
• Knowledge of building services installations (mechanical, electrical, water/sewage).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Very good command of English (B2).

As a BIM Modeller Trainee you will play a key role in our projects, working as part of the design team, creating BIM models for MEP installations and the associated design documentation. You will ensure that models comply with BIM standards and coordinate with the design team. Most importantly, you will have a real impact on project development, helping to achieve the best outcomes for both our clients and the environment.

As a BIM Modeller at Arup, your responsibilities will include:

• Modelling building MEP systems
• Creating SMEP library components library components
• Preparing drawing documentation and BIM deliverables
• Coordinating models and information flow with other disciplines
• Automating modelling processes
• Working closely with designers and participating in design reviews

We Will Value

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in an engineering or construction-related discipline
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD
• Knowledge of the visual programming environment used in generative modelling, such as Dynamo
• Knowledge of building services installations, including mechanical, electrical or water and sewage systems
• Communication and organisational skills
• Very good command of English, minimum B2 level

The BIM SMEP team at Arup Poland is based in two locations, Kraków and Warsaw, and consists of BIM Managers, BIM Coordinators and BIM Modelling specialists. We deliver building projects for industrial facilities, data centres, retail and office developments. We focus on comprehensive professional development in BIM, combined with the use of the latest tools and programming languages, including Python and C#.
