Job summary

ING Hubs Poland is looking for a Big Data Engineer to join the team in Poland. The role focuses on transforming and cleansing high-volume data to solve fraud and financial crime problems, using Spark, Hadoop, Elasticsearch, and Scala where applicable.

You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with BAs, Tech Leads, PMs, and Solutions Architects to deliver robust data-driven solutions for customer needs.

Qualifications

• Proven big data experience in implementation or data science.
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Understanding customer needs and translating into technical solutions.
• Familiar with Java or C# and software development best practices (CI/CD, clean code, version control).

Responsibilities

• Dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Managing, transforming and cleansing high-volume data to solve fraud and financial crime problems.
• Holding regular team sprints and Scrum meetings.
• Collaborating with Business Analysts, Tech Leads, Project Managers and Solutions Architects to meet customer expectations.
