Job summary

PayU is seeking a BI Developer to turn complex data into trusted insights, supporting financial, operational and regulatory decisions across the CEE region. You will join PayU CEE’s Business Intelligence team to maintain data, metrics and definitions used by the business and external partners.

Responsibilities include designing data models, creating dashboards with Tableau/Looker/PowerBI, and maintaining ETL pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in data modelling, data analysis or data engineering.
• SQL: Advanced-level proficiency in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Familiarity with GitHub/version control.
• Strong skills in Tableau/Looker/PowerBI for dashboards, reports and visualizations.
• Fluent Polish and English (C1).
• Experience in project management methodologies.

• Create insightful and interactive data visualizations to drive business decisions.
• Optimize and maintain data pipelines for efficiency and performance.
• Maintain and monitor daily ETL processes for reliability and accuracy.

As a BI Developer, you’ll turn complex data into trusted insights that support financial, operational and regulatory decisions across the CEE region. You’ll join PayU CEE’s Business Intelligence team, helping maintain the data, metrics and definitions the business and our external partners rely on.

• Design and develop standardized data models to meet diverse business needs,
• Create insightful and interactive data visualizations using Tableau to drive business decisions,
• Optimize and maintain existing data processes and pipelines for efficiency and performance,
• Maintain and monitor daily ETL processes, ensuring reliability and data accuracy,
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions,
• Support project management activities related to data initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality insights,
• Use AI-assisted tooling in day-to-day development (modelling, code review, documentation) and help shape how we apply it responsibly across our data work.

• 3 years of experience in data modelling, data analysis or data engineering,

• GitHub: Familiarity with version control using Git and GitHub,
• Tableau, Looker or PowerBI: Strong skills in creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations,

• Solid understanding of dbt for data transformation and modeling,
• Python programming skills for data processing and automation.
