Job summary

U.S. Bank Europe is seeking a Business Line Quality Assurance (BLQA) Tester to execute QA testing across the Chief Risk Office teams.

You will assess controls across European and North American footprints, identify control weaknesses, and ensure compliant, effective testing in a fast-paced banking environment. The role requires test preparation, execution, and documentation, with responsibilities spanning validation of test populations, evidence analysis, and coordination with management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically three to five years of applicable experience.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to analyze data and identify/resolve exceptions.
• Thorough knowledge of Risk, Compliance, and/or Audit competencies.
• Experience in a financial services setting helpful.

Responsibilities

• Investigate compliance of laws, regulations, and internal policies for functional areas.
• Develop proficiency in operations through test work papers and process reviews.
• Lead or perform process inquiries, walkthroughs, and procedure reviews for QA testing.
• Identify and document the process to validate test populations and sample controls.
• Monitor risk indicators and emerging risks to update test scripts.
• Verify resolution of issues identified in previous tests.
• Perform QA tests and analyze evidence against policies and laws.
• Lead test result discussions with management and risk partners.
• Draft management reports and compile supporting test workpapers.
• Communicate testing results effectively to BLQA Manager and stakeholders.
• Keep accurate records and prepare statements and reports.
• Handle other deliverables as assigned by management.
