Positive invites an experienced Python/Django developer to join our team. You will build scalable Django applications, optimize performance, and keep up with the latest libraries and tools.

You should have 4+ years in Django, expert Python skills, Celery experience, and fluency in English and Polish (C1). This is a 100% remote, long-term role with flexible hours and a focus on growth and high-quality code.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone fascinated by modern web technologies and with extensive experience with complex web applications.

Your main tasks will be:

• building and developing scalable applications using advanced Django techniques, with a focus on performance,
• modernizing legacy code to improve its readability, stability, and overall efficiency,
• working with the latest versions of libraries, frameworks and tools, ensuring they stay up to date,
• writing clean, high-quality code in line with industry best practices,
• deepening technical knowledge and solving complex system and application-level issues,
• collaborating with a team of tech enthusiasts, where a growth mindset and continuous improvement of programming skills are our top priorities.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

• practical experience of the Django framework (4+ years) and a strong knowledge of Celery,
• deep, expert-level proficiency in Django & Python – we’re looking for someone who knows Django inside out, uses its advanced features effortlessly, and writes clean, production-grade code,
• experience in building and scaling complex web applications,
• fluency in both English and Polish (C1 level),
• independence and a high sense of ownership over assigned tasks,
• ability to work both as a team player and independently,
• a solution-oriented mindset and openness to change.
