Job summary

Secretlab is building scalable backend systems to support its globally expanding gaming chair brand. The role focuses on designing and maintaining production-grade services across Java 21+ and PHP 8.2+, with a strong emphasis on event-driven architectures and dual-persistence strategies.

You will work across teams including Marketing, Operations, and Logistics to gather requirements and implement robust, secure solutions that scale with our international audience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of professional backend development experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with event-driven architectures (EDA).
• Experience with Dual-Persistence strategies (SQL + NoSQL).
• Security-first coding with OWASP principles and encryption awareness.
• Strong collaboration across teams and polyglot portability between Java and PHP.

Responsibilities

• Design hybrid schemas leveraging SQL and NoSQL for scale and integrity.
• Design decoupled microservices using event-driven patterns.
• Own lifecycle of events from emission to consumption with zero data loss.
• Develop and maintain core services across Java and PHP ecosystems.
• Build secure, scalable infrastructure with well-documented code.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Logistics to gather requirements.
